Genius Loci risiede nella ricerca del bello
che, a partire dal Rinascimento e forse qui più che altrove,
si fonda su un saper fare nutrito di ingegno ideativo e
su un intreccio tra antico e moderno i cui segni antropici
non smettono di rinnovare, nel corso del tempo, l’identità
della regione. Non è un caso che, a inserire un nuovo
tassello nel mosaico complesso della storia di questa
terra, sia stato anche l’architetto ticinese Mario Botta,
chiamato dalla Famiglia Moretti a progettare la propria
cantina vinicola a Suvereto, nel cuore della Maremma.
