quiet corner that looks out to the horizon.

di A Spartera con il passare delle stagioni. Mi piace pensare che questa
architettura vivrà e si trasformerà, acquisendo una patina che rafforzerà
il suo legame con l’isola” conclude Joseph Battistelli. A Spartera è
caratterizzata da un equilibrio tra solidità e leggerezza. Una sensazione
rafforzata dalle terrazze sospese delle camere e del soggiorno, che si
aprono direttamente sulla piscina e sul paesaggio. L’interior design,
curato da Géraldine Contet, è stato pensato per creare un ambiente
che offra il massimo del comfort. In ogni stanza sono impiegati materiali
pregiati, come la pietra sarda e il marmo bianco venato, mentre il
soffitto
decorato
con
stucchi
e il camino scultoreo creano
un’atmosfera calda e accogliente.
“A Spartera è concepita come
un’ode alla libertà e alla convivialità
– racconta Géraldine Contet –
Qui l’architettura sfuma sullo
sfondo per trasformarsi in un
viaggio sensoriale. Ho scelto di
riecheggiare la tecnicità della
costruzione
rivelando
alcuni
dettagli
strutturali,
in
modo
che
diventassero
parte
della
narrazione. Mi sono innamorata
del lavoro di Alexandre Labruyère,
un ebanista la cui sensibilità ha
risuonato immediatamente con
lo spirito del luogo grazie alla
realizzazione di pezzi su misura.
Per me l’autenticità risiede nella
profonda armonia con l’ambiente”.
Il divano Edra On the Rocks, con
le sue forme scultoree, si è imposto
come una presenza naturale nello
spazio, unendo estetica e comfort
in
dialogo
con
l’architettura.
“Amo Edra da molto tempo –
spiega Jérôme Picard – Per me è
un marchio forte e iconico, con
valori solidi, un segno distintivo
del design italiano e internazionale.
All’ombra dei pini, sdraiato sui grandi divani con un libro, tra il mare,
il giardino e la piscina, mi piace guardare A Spartera prendere vita,
animarsi, con i nostri ospiti che si godono gli spazi sentendosi come a
casa. Quella del divano On the Rocks è stata una scelta ovvia: generoso,
invita alla condivisione e alla contemplazione. La sua forma lo rende
un punto focale spettacolare nello spazio interno, con le sue curve
in contrasto con le linee tese della residenza. È presente e discreto,
con la seduta bassa che permette alla vista del giardino e del mare di
penetrare dall’ingresso in tutto l’ampio soggiorno”. Ad accompagnare

A Spartera is characterized by its equilibrium between solidity and
lightness, a sensation reinforced by suspended terraces opening
onto the pool and landscape from the living room and bedrooms. The
interior design by Géraldine Contet, was carefully considered to
create an environment offering maximum comfort. Precious materials
such as Sardinian stone and a veined white marble have been used in
each room, while the stuccoed ceiling and sculptural fireplace create
a warm welcoming atmosphere.
“A Spartera was conceived as an
ode to freedom and conviviality”
explains Géraldine Contet. “And
the architecture melts into the
background, transforming into a
sensory journey. I chose to echo the
technicality of the construction by
revealing certain structural details
so they become part of the story. I fell
in love with the work of Alexandre
Labruyère, a cabinetmaker whose
sensibility immediately resonated
with the spirit of place through his
creation of custom-made pieces.
Authenticity, for me, lies in a deep
harmony with the environment.”
With its sculptural form, Edra’s
On the Rocks
sofa
establishes
a natural presence in the space,
combining aesthetic and comfort
in a dialogue with the architecture.
“For a long time I have loved Edra”
Jérôme Picard explains, “I find it to
be a strong and iconic brand, with
solid values; a hallmark of Italian
and international design. In the
shade of the pine trees, lounging on
the large sofas with a book between
sea, garden and pool, I enjoy
watching A Spartera come to life,
our guests enjoying the spaces and feeling at home. The On the Rocks
sofa was an obvious choice of sofa: its generosity invites us to share and
contemplate. Its shape makes a spectacular focal point in the interior
spaces, its curves contrasting with the residence’s taut lines. It is present
but discreet, its low lines let the view of the sea and the garden fill the
whole of the spacious living room from the entrance”.
A collection of art selected by curator François Leblanc di Cicilia
and artist Le Sonneur accompanies the furnishings. “The art and the
furniture form a dialogue, creating a uniquely sensory experience.
