Grande Soffice
Il divano è l’oggetto più misterioso tra i mobili
che popolano l’universo dell’architettura
d’interni. È una scultura che entra nella
casa come un monumento o un obelisco o
una cattedrale entra nello spazio urbano.
È un’architettura lui stesso, una tana
primordiale e sofisticata. Il divano è anche
una straordinaria superficie che racchiude una
materia misteriosa simile alla nostra carne.

The sofa is the most mysterious object
amongst the furniture populating the interior
design universe. It is a sculpture that fits into
people’s houses as a monument or an obelisk
or a cathedral fits into the urban space. It is
itself an architecture, a primordial, sophisticated
nest. The sofa is also an extraordinary surface
that contains a mysterious matter similar to our
flesh. Its true charm, its magic reside within the
mystery of its shape.
Grande Soffice originates from the apparently
simple idea of transforming the image that
comes into our mind when we think about the
word sofa in an actual shape sculpted into
the soft matter, an extraordinary and magical
metamorphosis only made possible with the
participation of the many talents a company
such as Edra is rich of.

Le canapé est l'objet le plus mystérieux
parmi les meubles qui peuplent l'univers
de l'architecture d'intérieur. C'est une
sculpture qui entre dans la maison comme un
monument, un obélisque ou une cathédrale
entre dans l'espace urbain. Il est lui-même
une architecture, une tanière primordiale
et sophistiquée. Le canapé est également
une surface extraordinaire qui contient une
matière mystérieuse semblable à notre chair.
Le mystère de sa forme reste son vrai charme,
sa magie.
Le Grande Soffice prend l’inspiration de
l’idée, apparemment simple, de transformer
l’image qui se forme dans notre esprit
quand nous pensons au mot sofa dans une

das geheimnisvollste Objekt unter den Möbeln.
Es ist eine Skulptur, die ins Haus eintritt, wie ein
Denkmal oder ein Obelisk oder eine Kathedrale
ins Stadtbild. Es ist selbst eine Architektur, eine
genuine und elegante Höhle. Das Sofa ist auch
eine außergewöhnliche Oberfläche, die ein
unserem Fleisch ähnliches mysteriöses Material
beinhaltet. Das Geheimnis seiner Form ist seine
wahre Faszination, seine Magie.
Das Grande Soffice kommt von der scheinbar
einfachen Idee, das Bild, das sich beim
Assoziieren des Worts Sofa formt, in eine echte
Form zu verwandeln, die in das weiche Material
gehauen ist; eine außergewöhnliche und
