design universe. It is a sculpture that fits into
people’s houses as a monument or an obelisk
or a cathedral fits into the urban space. It is
itself an architecture, a primordial, sophisticated
nest. The sofa is also an extraordinary surface
that contains a mysterious matter similar to our
flesh. Its true charm, its magic resides within the
mystery of its shape.
Grande Soffice originates from the apparently
simple idea of transforming the image that
comes into our mind when we think about the
word sofa in an actual shape sculpted into
the soft matter, an extraordinary and magical
metamorphosis only made possible with the
participation of the many talents of a company
like edra.

parmi les meubles qui peuplent l'univers
de l'architecture d'intérieur. C'est une
