A diamond changing into a seat: faceted from a thousand veins that reflect light. “Meridiana” transforms the lines of construction and power in lines of poetry. Suspended in its thin metal structure, it shines in its transparency or its sophisticated nuances.
The Meridiana armchair, diamond that becomes suspended seating in its metallic structure, is today presented also in the leather version, which exalts the plasticity of the ribbing which makes up its form.
Meridiana, the iconic chair from the Driade collection designed by Christophe Pillet in 2004, is back with new variants. A chair, small armchair and stool are offered now with the shell in white or black polycarbonate and the structure in steel painted matt black.
The solidity of steel contrasts with the lightness of the moulded polycarbonate. The same structure painted black is available also for the current versions in the catalogue: transparent, smoky, red or with leather upholstery. This product takes its inspiration from diamonds: the facets of cut diamonds capture and reflect light. Suspended on a delicate metal structure, Meridiana sparkles in its transparency and sophisticated nuances. A seat with an unmistakable, easily identifiable look, it is perfect in the dining room, or in a study or an office.
