Maui infatti è il semidio che, secondo
il mito, con il suo magico amo pescò
le isole dall’oceano arpionando il sole
e attirandolo vicino alla terra per
concedere agli uomini il dono del fuoco.
Maui is an homage to Hawaii islands
and their bond with fire. Maui is the
demigod who, according to the myth,
with his magical hook fished the
islands from the ocean and hooked the
sun attracting it close to the earth to
give to the humankind the gift of fire.
