Gensler has been developing products for both commercial interior and residential spaces for almost
twenty years but has only just begun to explore the bath space.
We wanted to design a family of taps and tubs that would accommodate a number of market needs.
On the one hand, we wanted to create an offering that was luxurious by looking back and referencing
Art Deco’s Streamline Moderne period. On the other hand, the design team also needed the design to
work in contemporary spaces. This endeavor led us to develop a range of taps and tubs that allows
designers to personalize the products to suit their project’s needs. All offerings in the Twenties, Dove
and Holiday lines are based on a modular approach to their design. Designers can mix and match
finishes to find the perfect solution for their project.
Gensler ha sviluppato prodotti per gli hotel e per l’ambito residenziale per quasi vent’anni, ma non aveva
mai lavorato al design di un prodotto per la sala da bagno.
Il nostro obiettivo era realizzare una linea di vasche e rubinetteria capace di soddisfare pienamente le
esigenze del mercato. Per farlo abbiamo guardato indietro, in particolare alla declinazione Streamline
Moderne dell’Art Déco, cercando allo stesso tempo un design adatto agli spazi contemporanei.
Questa sfida ha condotto il nostro team a sviluppare una gamma di vasche e rubinetti che consente ai
progettisti di personalizzare i prodotti con la massima libertà. Tutte le proposte delle collezioni Twenties,
Dove e Holiday si basano su un design modulare, i cui elementi si possono mescolare, abbinando le
finiture per trovare la soluzione perfetta per il loro progetto.
