Il nome della collezione di tappeti Gradé si ispira
alle vibrazioni di colore del filato in pura lana Nuova
Zelanda, le cui gradazioni variano dal naturale al
corda o dal perla fino all’antracite. Realizzati con la
tecnica del handtufting, che consiste nell’inserire
ciuffi di filati all’interno di un supporto in tessuto, questi
complementi hanno una texture costituita da punti a
bouclé e velluto per l’interno, mentre il caratteristico
bordo esterno è con frangia.
The name of the Gradé rug collection is inspired by
the colour vibrations of the pure New Zealand wool
yarn, whose shades range from natural to rope or
pearl grey to anthracite. Made using the handtufting
technique, which consists of inserting tufts of
yarn inside a fabric backing, these rugs have a
texture consisting of bouclé stitches and velvet for
the inside, while the characteristic outer edge is
fringed.
