Thanks to the fact that we silver our mirrors in our own factory, Deknudt Mirrors has the ability to make mirrors with partially transparent spaces.
“TWILIGHT” represents the shape of a classical frame in a two dimensional way, as though one is looking through a contemporary glass at the past. The sleek digital pixel pattern matches perfectly with the image of a timeless classical mirror seen from a distance. The adapted photographic image is a modern translation of an archetypal frame, the contours of which seem to be emerging from the fog. This mirror adapts itself to every interior, because the background remains visible through the transparent parts. Due to the limited dimensions, it easily finds a spot in everybody’s interior: over a little cabinet, classic or contemporary, in the bathroom, the hallway, the bedroom, it really fits everywhere.
