Die Schönheit liegt im Detail
Wenn traditionelles Lederhandwerk
und ein spielerisch-experimenteller
Designansatz aufeinandertreffen,
dann entsteht eine einzigartige, posi-
tive Dynamik. Schwungvolle Wellen
kennzeichnen das DS-808 aus der
Feder von atelier oï und verleihen
dem Möbel eine starke Anziehungs-
und Aussagekraft. Die mäandrieren-
de Form verschiebt die Grenzen der
Materialität und entsteht, indem das
Leder − wie ein Überwurf − auf eine
geschwungene Konstruktion gelegt
wird. Dies schafft ein raffiniertes Spiel
aus Licht und Schatten.
Die fliessende Form des Möbels wirkt
auf besondere Weise ursprünglich
und authentisch – und ist in ihrem
Ausdruck gleichzeitig einzigartig,
eigenständig und erfrischend anders.
Beauty is in the details
An unusual and effective dynamic
is created when traditional leather
craftsmanship and a playful, expe-
rimental approach to design come
together. Sweeping wave-like forms
characterise the DS-808, designed
by atelier oï, which makes the furni-
ture particularly appealing and ex-
pressive. Its sinuous form pushes the
boundaries of materials design and is
created by placing the leather onto a
curved structure like a throw, which
creates a sophisticated interplay of
light and shadow.
The flowing design of the furniture
creates an especially original and
authentic look – allowing it to express
itself in a unique, autonomous and
refreshingly different way.
