So geht das schon ewig: Seit unser
Sonnensystem vor Milliarden Jahren
aus der sogenannten Urwolke ent-
stand, drehen sich die Planeten – und
damit auch die Erde.
Zum Glück: Wäre Mutter Erde bock-
starr, wäre es auf der Seite zur Sonne
hin kochend heiss, auf der anderen
Seite eiskalt. So aber geniessen wir
behaglich unser Leben – manchmal
ebenso drehend wie auf dem DS-262,
der sich wie eine erhabene Skulptur
im Raum erhebt – und trotzdem zum
aktiven Relaxen animiert, weil das
Angebot der verschiedenen Sitz-
haltungen nach Lust und Laune
ausprobiert werden kann.

It’s been going on like this forever:
ever since our solar system emerged
billions of years ago from the so-
called primordial cloud, the planets –
earth included – have been rotating.
And thank goodness: if Mother Earth
were absolutely immobile, it would
be boiling hot on the side facing the
sun and icy cold on the other side. As
it is, however, we comfortably enjoy
our life – sometimes spinning the
way DS-262 does as it rises up like a
lofty sculpture in the room – but that
nevertheless encourages active relax-
ation, because the range of different
sitting postures can be sampled to
one’s heart’s content.
