DESIGN BY ALDO CIBIC
“I’ve always been drawn to nature as it manifests
its strength in unexpected contexts”. With this, Aldo
Cibic built a miniature natural landscape, poetically
made of structures, containers and objects to house
small gardens, both indoors and outdoors. With a
minimal, simple design and a thin, barely-there frame,
the lightness of the lines converges to exalt the
expressiveness of the metals and the sensory nature
of their surfaces.
“Sono sempre stato attratto dalla natura che manifesta
la sua forza in contesti inaspettati”; così Aldo Cibic
costruisce un paesaggio in miniatura, lavorando su una
poetica fatta di strutture, contenitori e oggetti in cui
alloggiare piccoli giardini, pensati per l’interno e per
l’esterno. Minimo e semplice il disegno, sottili gli spessori
della struttura che quasi sparisce: la leggerezza delle
linee confluisce nell’esaltazione dell’espressività dei
metalli e dalla sensorialità delle superfici.

Arising from the union of DeLabré stainless steel and
shiny steel, Phil is a series of cachepots with simple lines
rendered complex thanks to its unique combination
of contrasting materials and finishes. Highlighting the
sensory nature of its surfaces in an interplay of shiny
and matt, light and dark, Phil comes in one single
proportion and three variations, characterized by the
triumph of one metal or another.
Dall’incontro tra l'acciaio DeLabré e l’acciaio lucido nasce
Phil, una serie di cachepot dalle linee estremamente
semplici, rese complesse dall’abbinamento di materiali
e finiture contrastanti, che mettono in evidenza la
sensorialità delle superfici. In una rincorsa tra lucido
e opaco, luminoso e oscuro, Phil si offre un’unica
proporzione e tre varianti, caratterizzate dal prevalere
di uno o dell’altro metallo.
