Parsec
DESIGN BY EMILIO NANNI
The Parsec collection of Coffee tables is characterized
by the interwoven tube structure which forms the
base. The legs create diagonals connected by a central
joint upon which the force lines converge. The top and
centrepiece are attached to the joint, which becomes
a linchpin for the entire structure. Available with
or without the central accessory, Parsec juxtaposes
De Castelli finishes in stainless steel, brass and copper with
the burnished stainless steel of the frame, opting for
chromatic balance in an item defined by formal rigour.
La collezione di tavolini Parsec è caratterizzata
dall’intreccio della struttura tubolare che forma la base;
le gambe disegnano diagonali connesse da un giunto
centrale su cui convergono le linee di forza. Ad esso sono
fissati il piano e il centrotavola, che diventa perno di tutta
la struttura. Disponibile con o senza accessorio centrale,
Parsec contrappone le finiture De Castelli di acciaio,
ottone e rame all’acciaio inox brunito della struttura,
scegliendo il bilanciamento cromatico per un oggetto
che fa del rigore formale il proprio DNA.
