More than mere furniture, the Efesto stool is a sculpture
for home which exalts the brand manufacturing
capabilities: by curving and bending metal sheet, brass
is manually shaped and hammered to create its unique
triangular cross section. The polished finishing further
highlights its sinuous shape. Entirely without mechanical
joints, Efesto’s ability to support heavy weights
is created through its meticulously designed structure.
The technical savoir-fair and the intrinsic qualities of
brass elevate it beyond a functional object to a unique,
sophisticated design piece.
Lo sgabello è una vera e propria scultura domestica che
esalta le capacità produttive dell’azienda: ottenuto dalla
curvatura, formatura e martellatura manuale della lastra
di ottone, è caratterizzato dall’insolita sezione triangolare
e da una finitura lucida specchiante che ne esalta
la forma sinuosa. Efesto è privo di giunti meccanici e la
sua resistenza al peso è data dalla struttura progettuale.
L’insieme delle lavorazioni e delle caratteristiche
intrinseche dell’ottone lo rendono un oggetto non solo
funzionale, ma anche insolito e raffinato.
