A table that interprets the round, spacious form of
a brazier, which echoes in its size and volume. A symbol
of sharing and communion that references the ritual
of conviviality and spending time together. The top,
in generous proportions, and the lower ‘lens’ fuse
into a single piece, into which three legs are inserted.
The personality of this sculpture-table arrives via the
iridescent finish of the top, the memory of always-
glowing embers, and the luminosity of the copper feet
upon which the legs rest, lightening our perception
of the whole.
Il tavolo interpreta la forma tonda e capiente del
braciere, di cui richiama con evidenza i volumi.
Un simbolo di condivisione e di comunione, che rimanda
alla ritualità del convivio e dello stare insieme. Il top dalle
dimensioni generose e la lente inferiore si fondono
in un unico pezzo, nel quale si innestano tre gambe.
La personalità di questo tavolo scultura è data dalla
finitura cangiante del piano, memoria di braci sempre
accese, e dalla luminosità dei piedini in rame su cui
poggiano le gambe, che ne alleggeriscono la percezione.
