Plateaux of Mirror

A sculptural presence and an essential minimalism are
the identifying characteristics of this table, made of just
three elements: a thick rectangular top which rests on
two large concave semi-cylinders, creating a pedestal.
The pure, monolithic lines are initially determined by
functionality and technique, then by aesthetics, to create
a shape that is the maximum expression of the rigour
and understatement of proportional harmony.
Presenza scultorea e minimalismo essenziale sono
le caratteristiche identificative di un tavolo composto
da soli tre elementi: il top rettangolare di alto spessore
poggia su due grandi semi-cilindri concavi che ne
costituiscono il basamento. Le linee pure e monolitiche
sono dettate prima dalla funzionalità e dalla tecnica
e poi dall’estetica, per un esito formale che è la massima
espressione del rigore e dell’essenzialità associati
all’armonia dei volumi.
