Sinestesia
DESIGN BY TIPSTUDIO
A series of curved brass sheets form the base of
Sinestesia, the console table encapsulating the solidity
and expressiveness of metal. With rounded edges, the
leaf-like top of the console rests on the curvature of the
metal sheets below, playing with positive and negative
spaces to define the essential structure of this piece.
The brushed finishing on the inner surface of the vertical
elements underscores the essential geometric contours
of the piece highlighting the contrast with the outer
surface characterised by the DeErosion finishing.
Una successione di lastre curvate caratterizza il design
della base di Sinestesia, una console che mette
in relazione la solidità e l’espressività del metallo. Il top
dagli estremi arrotondati, come una foglia, si appoggia
sulla curvatura delle lastre che, in un’alternanza di
pieni e vuoti, definiscono la struttura essenziale della
console. La finitura della superficie interna delle lastre
verticali, evidenzia la geometria essenziale dell’oggetto
mettendo in luce il contrasto con la superficie esterna
caratterizzata dalla finitura DeErosion.
