Poised like a ballerina on her toes, Elizabeth
gracefully unfurls her luminous dress as if
it was a pleated fabric. Characteristic folds
bring movement to the metal sheet that
forms the surface of the cabinet, transform-
ing every reflection into light. Juxtaposing
lightness and tension, elasticity and rigidity,
the metal vibrates to the rhythm of its folds.
Elizabeth console embodies a new vision
of metal furnishing which is undeniably
feminine.

Elizabeth dispiega con grazia il suo abito lu-
minoso come un tessuto plissettato. La car-
atteristica piegatura del metallo conferisce
movimento alla lastra che forma la superficie
della madia, trasformando ogni riflesso in
luce. In un gioco fra leggerezza e tensione,
fra elasticità e rigore, il metallo vibra al ritmo
delle sue pieghe. Elizabeth consolle dà cor-
po a una nuova visione dell’arredo in metallo
di segno dichiaratamente femminile.

Sulla pelle mutevole del metallo con cui
sono composte le forme rigorose di questo
mobile contenitore, si disegnano una sull’altra
le tracce del tempo. A metà tra oggetto
di design e opera d’arte, Marea rappresenta

Celato is a reference to what is concealed
to keep a memory intact; it’s an archetype
in which beauty is revealed in stages.
A monolithic appearance makes Celato a
contemporary menhir; like a legend that tells
of magnificent treasures safeguarded
below sacred stones, Celato reveals its
dual soul, with many internal, hidden, almost
secret spaces. It combines several tesserae
to form a whole: aesthetics, function and an
incredible ability to make each piece unique,
never identical to the others, revealed with-
out impudence, walking an avant-garde line
between tradition and modernity.
Celato è un richiamo a ciò che viene nascos-
to per mantenere integra la memoria, è un
archetipo in cui la bellezza viene svelata per
gradi. L’apparenza monolitica rende il Celato
un contemporaneo menhir; come la leggen-
da che racconta di favolosi tesori custoditi
sotto queste pietre sacre, il Celato rivela
una doppia anima, con molti spazi interni,
nascosti, quasi segreti. In esso si uniscono
vari tasselli per comporre un insieme: esteti-
ca, funzionalità e grande abilità nel realizzare
un oggetto unico, mai uguale a nessun altro,
che si rivela senza sfrontatezza, all’avan-
guardia tra tradizione e modernità.
