Clément Cauvet est un créateur inclassable. Il travaille généralement
sur des pièces uniques. Quand il parle de ses luminaires, Clément
nous dit : “Comme un enfant qui joue aux « légo » dans sa chambre,
j’ai tenté de traduire un monde, avec du béton, du métal. Ces 3
luminaires je les perçois comme une passerelle entre passé présent
futur.” L’objet est à la frontière entre la sculpture et un édifice
architectural, il est fonctionnel par sa lumière.
[EN] Clément Cauvet is an uncategorizable creator who typically
works on unique pieces. When discussing his lighting fixtures,
Clément says: ‘Like a child playing with ‘LEGO’ in his room, I tried
to translate a world, using concrete and metal. I perceive these
three luminaires as a bridge between past, present, and future.’ The
object exists on the border between sculpture and architectural
structure, functioning through its light.
