Ho sempre trovato il cavo elettrico un impedimento.
Talmente importante che spesso fotografo le lampade senza cavo,
quasi ad auspicare un mondo senza fili. Tutto sommato viviamo
già in un mondo in cui molti dispositivi sono senza cavo. Wireless
significa soddisfare un bisogno vero ovvero quello di portare la luce
esattamente dove si desidera. Le tecnologie utilizzate nelle nuove
batterie e le formidabili prestazioni dei diodi luminosi ci hanno
permesso di realizzare dispositivi molto efficienti, come durata e
come resa luminosa.
I have always considered wires and plugs as impediments.
As proof of this, I have often photographed my lamps without showing
the connecting wires. It was a kind of wish for a world without them.
All considered, we now live in a world with lots of wireless products.
Wireless means satisfying a real need: that of being able to put
light wherever we want and need it. The technology utilised in the
production of new battery types and the exceptional performance
of luminous diodes have allowed us to create very efficient lighting
devices, both with regards to endurance and quality of light.
