The plastic bottles are pelleted, cleaned and made into
granulate and finally into fibres to weave new material
from.
Not only does the process of recycling plastic bottles ensure
less plastic end up in nature, but it also means we require
fewer ressources than it takes to produce new (”virgin) poly-
ester fabric:

A brand new addition to our product line is
upholstery made from recycled PET bottles -
the so-called rPES.
RPES - FABRIC MADE FROM RECYCLED PLASTIC
Selected items from our 2022 collection will feature this new
fabric and we aim to introduce more on an ongoing basis in
the coming years.
