espressione si intuisce l'intento
dell'architetto: "Creare qualcosa di
inedito che vada oltre all'abituale e al
conosciuto mirando a migliorare
il senso del contesto ambientale,
l'identità, la relazione con gli altri e gli
spazi fisici di vivibilità. L'architettura,
i mobili, il carattere, la grafica e
ciascun soggetto è sensibile alla cura
redazionale sempre coerente allo
scopo. Dal 2001 l'Arch. Martin Gruber
lavora con sede a Bressanone BZ
sviluppando numerosi progetti in Sud
America, in Europa, in Russia e Asia.

elevati valori per il cliente e fruitore.
/ EN_“Art-in” expresses the philosophy
of this architect: to create something
new going beyond the usual, always
having in mind to improve the
sensibility of the surroundings, the
identity, the interpersonal relationship
and the physical space of life. The
architecture, the character, the graphics
and each object are sensitive. Since
2001 the architect Martin Gruber with
operating seat in Brixen (Bz) is engaged
in various projects as for example in
South America, in Europe and Asia.
The underground Ice Rink in Sao Paolo,
shopping centers in Russia (Moskow,
Novosibirsk, Astrachan), the offices
of the hotel Tenne Lodges and an
auditorium dedicated to concerts in
Frankfurt are only a few examples. Today
with a team of free lance specialists he
is mainly working for hotels, private
residences and cultural centers in
Europe, always having in mind to obtain
a maximum of values for the client
and the user.

Etwas Neues schaffen, das über das
Gewöhnliche und bereits Bekannte
hinausgeht, um das wohnliche
Konzept immer weiter zu verbessern.
Die Architektur, die Graphik und
jedes Objekt passen sich mit großer
Sensibilität dem entsprechenden
Zweck an. Seit dem Jahre 2001 arbeitet
der Architekt Martin Gruber mit Sitz
in Brixen (Bz) an der Verwirklichung
zahlreicher Objekte in Südamerika,
Russland und Asien. Das unterirdische
Eisstadium in Sao Paolo, Einkaufszentren
in Russland (Moskau, Novosibirsk,
Astrachan), Büroräume des Hotels
Tenne Lodges und ein Konzertsaal in
Frankfurt sind nur einige Beispiele für
seine mannigfaltige Tätigkeit. Heute
arbeitet Herr Gruber fast ausschließlich
an Hotelobjekten, für private Villen und
kulturelle Anstalten in Europa, die er
zusammen mit einem Team erfahrener,
spezialisierter Freiberufler aufgrund
langjähriger Erfahrung mit einem hohen
Wert für den Kunden und den Benutzer
zu verwirklichen sucht.

design, dalla direzione artistica alla
consulenza ed affiancamento aziendale,
focalizzando la progettazione degli
spazi espositivi per i più importanti
marchi presenti nel mercato
internazionale. É presente con
proprie rubriche e scritti sulle più
diffuse riviste settoriali in qualità di
opinionista e osservatore. Si rivolge
al mondo dell'handicap e della terza
età attraverso lo sviluppo di arredi
destinati ai sordociechi pluriminorati,
all’infanzia, agli ospedali e alle case di
riposo per anziani.

/ EN_The architect Alfredo Zengiaro, a
famous designer of furniture for industrial
production, is especially known as a
designer of kitchens. He started out
in 1984 collaborating with important
industries developing industrial graphic
design. Now he is active as an industrial
consultant, elaborating spaces for
the exposure of the most important
international brands. He is present in
the most important specialized journals
as opinion leader with articles and
comments. He is especially interested
in the world of handicap and the third
age, developing furniture dedicated to
deaf and blind persons, to persons with
various disabilities, children, hospitals and
boarding homes for retired persons. He
lives and works in Vicenza.
/ DE_Auf internationaler Ebene
bekannter Designer von Möbeln und
speziell Küchenmöbeln für industrielle
Produktion. Seine industrielle Tätigkeit
beginnt im Jahre 1984 mit Design und
Graphik und reicht von künstlerischer
Direktion bis zur Beratung von Firmen
mit besonderem Wert der Projizierung
von Expositionszonen für die wichtigsten
Marken des internationalen Marktes.
Mit Kommentaren und Rubriken
ist er präsent in den führenden
Fachzeitschriften und gilt als "opinion
leader" auf diesem Gebiet. Er wendet
sich an die Welt des Handicaps
und den 3. Lebensabschnitt mit
Einrichtungsvorschlägen, die den
Schwerhörigen, den Blinden, Personen
mit verschieden Defekten, der Kindheit,
Krankenhäusern und Altersheimen
gewidmet sind. Er lebt und arbeitet in
Vicenza.

/IT _Il progettista può diventare quindi
lo stilista che disegna un vestito "su
misura" in base alle necessità dello
spazio e soprattutto per la qualità
e il benessere del fruitore finale e
il benessere della persona. La persona
al centro dello spazio, e non viceversa.
D.Hills offre un approccio sensoriale
reinterpreto lo spazio attraverso
il coinvolgimento dei cinque sensi.
La vista, con il movimento
tridimensionale delle superfici. L’udito,
attraverso un benefico abbattimento
acustico. Il tatto, grazie alla morbidezza
dei rivestimenti, supporti e materiali.
L’olfatto, attraverso la sensazione della
pelle e dei tessuti naturali che come
il lino possono regalare. E infine
il "gusto" mai canonico, quello con cui
ciascuno sceglie il proprio progetto
esclusivo per definizione.
/ EN_ The architect becomes the designer
creating a “custom-made” outfit according
to the given space and especially keeping in
mind the wellness of the final user. The person
becomes the center of the space and not
vice versa. D. Hills offers a sensorial approach
having in mind the 5 senses: the sight with
threedimensional movement of the surfaces,
the audition with the benefit of the absorption
of the sound, the touch expressed by the soft
covers, the support and the materials, the
sense of smelling thanks to the sensation of the
leather and the natural textiles, as for example
flax, and last not least the “taste” which is never
canonical, allowing everybody to choose his
own exclusive project according to his personal
requirements.
/ DE_ Der Architekt wird zum Designer,
der ein maßgeschneidertes Gewand gemäß
den Gegebenheiten des Raumes und
insbesondere in Anbetracht der Qualität und
des Wohlbefindens des Endverbrauchers schafft.
Die Person befindet sich im Zentrum des
Raumes und nicht umgekehrt. Das Projekt
D. Hills bietet eine sensorielle Annäherung,
indem es den Raum anhand der 5 Sinnen
neu interpretiert. Die Sicht aufgrund der
dreidimensionellen Bewegung der Oberflächen.
Das Gehör dank der Entkräftigung der
akustischen Barrieren. Das Gefühl dank der
Weichheit der Bezüge und der verwandten
Materialien. Den Geruch aufgrund der Sensation
des Leders und der natürlichen Stoffe wie z.B.
Leinen und schließlich den Geschmack, der
niemals kanonisch ist und anhand dessen
jeder einzelne sein eigenes exklusives
Projekt wählen kann.

dell’azienda, nasce il progetto D.Hills,
un passo verso la sperimentazione
di nuovi scenari nell'arredo
Residenziale e Contract. Forme inedite
multifunzionali come Akoustic
dalle proprietà di fono assorbenza alla
versatilità delle soluzioni Decor, come
si evince dalle proposte presentate
in questa edizione, che vuol essere uno
stimolo a progettare sempre nuove
soluzioni creative.
/ EN_ Thanks to the collaboration of the
architects Martin Gruber and Alfredo Zengiaro,
supported by the intensive propension of our
company, the project D. Hills was born, a step
towards the experimentation of new scenes in
the furnishing of residences and contract. New
multi-functional, sound-absorbing forms as
Acoustic with a great variety of solutions and
Dekor were born, as shown in the following
pages, stimulating to create always new solutions.
/ DE_ Das Projekt D. Hills ist das Ergebnis
einer erfolgreichen Zusammenarbeit der
Architekten Martin Gruber und Alfredo
Zengiaro und dem Bestreben der Firma Donà,
bei der Experimentierung neuer Szenen auf
dem Gebiet der Einrichtung von Villen und
Objekten einen Schritt weiter zu gehen.
Neue, vielseitige funktionelle Formen wie z. B.
Akustik mit lärmschluckenden Eigenschaften
bis hin zu Dekor mit seinen mannigfaltigsten
Anwendungsmöglichkeiten, wie dies aus den
auf den folgenden Seiten gezeigten Vorschlägen
hervorgeht und die gleichzeitig Anregung für
immer neue kreative Lösungen geben sollen.
