Dans l’optique de donner à ses collections d’accessoires
en cristal taillé un prestige renouvelé, Cristal&Bronze
décide de confier, pour la première fois, la signature
de son cristal à un artisan renommé.

Franck Benito a été choisi pour revisiter les gammes
classiques de Cristal&Bronze grâce à deux tailles
de cristal contemporaines, qui font sa réputation :
les tailles « Nid d’abeilles » et « Bambou ».
Dans l’atelier de Franck Benito, les motifs sont transposés
au feutre ou au pinceau sur la forme en cristal et taillés
avec une grande précision par des meules traditionnelles
en grès ou en liège. La maîtrise de cette taille, dite à
« main levée », permet d’obtenir des jeux fascinants de
lumière, de reflets, de transparence.
In order to give its cut crystal accessories collections a new
prestige, Cristal&Bronze decided to entrust, for the first
time, its crystal signature to a renowned craftsman.
Franck Benito has been chosen to revisit the classic
Cristal&Bronze ranges thanks to two contemporary crystal
cuts, which have made his reputation: the “Nid d'abeilles”
and “Bambou” cuts.
In Franck Benito’s workshop, the patterns are transposed
with a felt pen or a brush onto the crystal shape and cut
with great precision by traditional sandstone or cork
millstones. The control of this cut, called “freehand”,
enables to obtain fascinating effects of light, reflections
and transparency.
