OTTO / chair
Designed by Giuseppe Viganò
Otto is a chair that combines design, ergonomics, functionality, and high craftsmanship skills.
The chair, an always complex furnishing element to create, becomes an example of the perfect
balance between form and substance.
/ Single material for multiple processing /
The Otto chair’s simple structure, made entirely
of beech wood, boasts two upholstered sections
that represent the backrest and the seat,
respectively. The two elements stand out for the
different processing of the wood.
The backrest - machined to give it a unique
curvature - supports the ergonomic demands of
the seat and offers total and welcoming comfort.
The legs are slender and tapered, designed with
a slope focused mainly on the back. Again, the
technique always moves along with the design
providing a weight balance that gives stability
to the seat.
/ Quality and functionality /
The Otto frame tapers in the middle. This design
choice was conceived to allow moving the chair
easily and give the seat a modern and functional design.
Customizable in finishes and colors, the Otto chair meets every style need.
