Tapestries are not a thing of the past. The artist Tammy Kanat has put
the spotlight on this once-palatial decorative element, adapting it to
new trends. She hand-weaves her circular pieces using only natural
fibers, such as merino wool, mohair, silk, hemp and jute. Although she
is Australian, her Instagram account has become so succesful that her
work is now a worldwide trend.
