The second floor was designed to host an amazing
library, that contains over 5,000 volumes. The owner
a lawyer, who spends most of his day reading, writing
and doing research in this space. The bookshelves
pictured surround the desk and the big windows
allow the contemplation of the environment, dilu-
ting its limits and allowing the shaping of a cozy,
luminous and stimulating atmosphere that allows
him to spend an important part of his day within
the space. / Todo el segundo piso se elaboró para
recibir en él esta impresionante biblioteca de más de
5.000 volúmenes. En ella pasa gran parte del día su
dueño, un jurista que lee, investiga y escribe allí. Las
estanterías de libros rodean la mesa de trabajo y las
ventanas generosas permiten la contemplación del
entorno y diluye sus límites, además de producir
una atmósfera acogedora, luminosa y estimulante
para el propietario, que pasa buena parte del día
en este entorno.
The simplicity of the shapes and the contrast
between brightness, wood and carpets, establish
a counterpoint to the absence of decoration and
the design of straight lines of the whole residence.
