Tower Bridge
Para no interrumpir
el tráfico fluvial hasta
el puerto central, se
construyó en 1894 un
puente levadizo con un
gálibo de 42,5 metros
que enlaza la Torre de
Londres con la orilla
sur del río Támesis.
The drawbridge, built
in 1894 to permit boat
traffic to the central
port, has a clearance
of 42.5 meters. The
crossing connects the
Tower of London with
the south bank of the
Thames River.
