Opened in 1991, the
museum dedicated
to contemporary art,
and in particular to
Australia’s artistic scene
today, takes up one of
the historic buildings
of The Rocks and was
expanded in 2012.
In the heart of the city
center and with excellent
facilities, Sydney’s
Botanic Garden opened
in 1816. It is the oldest
scientific institution in
Australia and one of the
most important of its
kind in the world.
