analiza la estructura de las ciudades
utilizando como referencia las fotografías
realizadas en distintos espacios públicos.
Con un sistema de colores el artista describe
la diferencia de funcionamiento de las urbes
en función de quién las documenta: los
puntos azules representan las instantáneas
tomadas por residentes (o personas que
durante más de un mes han etiquetado
imágenes en un mismo lugar), los rojos
corresponden a las tomadas por turistas
(menos de un mes de estancia) y, por
último, los amarillos representan aquellas
cuyo autor no se ha podido identificar.
American photographer Eric Fischer
analyzes the structure of cities based
on urban data and photographs taken
in public spaces, and which are later
geotagged on the Internet. With a color
code the artist describes how these
cities function differently depending on
the observer: blue dots on the map are
photographs taken by locals (or people
who have tagged images in one same
place for over a month), red dots are
photographs tagged by tourists (stays
of under a month), and, lastly, yellow
ones represent those that cannot be
clearly identified.
