The students at ESNE were
absolutely clear about it: all
materials should be reusable. Their
aMARme space is an allegory of
the sea, its inhabitants and the
problems that threaten it.
As Rocío Sancho explains, they
wanted to tell “the problem that
there is with marine fauna because
of plastics and contamination.
aMARme transmits the reflections
of the sea, the state of its fish,
and the way they are disappearing
because of that problem.”
For Sancho and her students,
Dekton Helena, which is used in
the vertical wall, was the solution
for harmonizing with those sea
waves. “Besides, it’s a very durable
material and is easily applied."
Los alumnos de ESNE tenían algo
meridianamente claro: todo los
materiales debían ser reutilizables.
Su espacio aMARme es una
alegoría del mar, sus habitantes y
los problemas que lo amenazan.
Como explica Rocío Sancho,
querían contar “el problema
que hay con la fauna marina
por culpa de los plásticos y la
contaminación. aMARme transmite
los reflejos del mar, cómo están los
peces y su desaparición por culpa
de ese problema”.
Para Sancho y sus alumnos,
Dekton Helena, que se utiliza en la
pared vertical, era la solución que
armonizaba con las ondas marinas.
“Además, es un material muy
duradero y con buena aplicación”.
