El estudio británico se ha entregado
a la idea de Marte como entorno
extremo. Se declaran experimentados
en el diseño de edificios para
ambientes hostiles y remotos y, desde
ahí, han reflexionado acerca de los
retos de la colonización marciana.
El casco, un equipamiento vital en el
futuro de Marte, muestra un paisaje
delicadamente sugerido en el supuesto
cristal del mismo. Estos bosquejos
están inspirados en las observaciones
y el material captado por la Curiosity
Rover de la NASA.
This British studio has dedicated itself
to the idea of Mars as an extreme
setting. Based on its experience in
the design of buildings for hostile
environments, it has reflected about
the challenges of colonizing Mars.
The shell, which will be a vital piece
of equipment in any human future on
Mars, shows a landscape delicately
sugested by its glass. These sketches
are inspired by observations and
by the material gathered by NASA’s
Curiosity Rover.
