To create an effective contrast with the modernity of Silestone Yukon,
Elmore Kitchens used a Spekva wooden worktop. As Vicky Elmore puts
it, the blend of both elements became “the ‘wow’ factor that my clients
were waiting for.”
There were elements that required special creativity from the interior
designers. For example, “the different ceiling heights, which included
a pitched roof with ceiling beams plus a flat roof in the new part
of the extension,” says the creative director of Elmore Kitchens.
The designers didn’t hesitate to juggle the situation, integrating the
countertop around the pillars.
This isn’t the first time that Elmore Kitchens has worked with
Cosentino, and there are plenty of reason. “We like to focus on
functionality as well as design. Beautiful spaces need to work well and
everyone has different needs,”says Vicky Elmore.
Para conseguir un efectivo contraste con la modernidad propuesta
por Silestone Yukon, Elmore Kitchens utilizó una encimera de madera
Spekva. La mezcla de ambos elementos, se tradujo en, como explica
Vicky Elmore, «el factor wow que los clientes esperaban».
Había elementos que obligaban a un esfuerzo creativo por parte de
los interioristas. Por ejemplo, «las diferentes alturas del techo, que
incluían un tejado inclinado con vigas más otro plano en la parte
nueva, en la extensión», señala la directora creativa de Elmore
Kitchens. Los diseñadores no dudaron en jugar con el rupturismo de
los pilares integrando la isla a su alrededor.
No es la primera vez que Elmore Kitchens trabaja con Cosentino
y hay motivos más que sobrados. «Nos gusta centrarnos tanto en
la funcionalidad como en el diseño. Los espacios hermosos deben
funcionar bien y todos tienen necesidades diferentes», explica Vicky
Elmore.
