Top design
While it is true that industrial design exists mainly
to make our lives easier and more comfortable,
when it is supported by details, it can have a
profound emotional effect as well. A kitchen
shelf? How could that be? With its material
precision, the story it conveys or its attempt to
bring something back to us today that we had
never forgotten with the passing of time: the
chairs at our grandmother’s house, old artisan
workshops, or our ancestral human attraction to
stone. Looking back while also looking forward.
Es cierto que, ante todo, el diseño industrial existe
para hacer nuestras vidas más fáciles y conforta-
bles pero, cuando se basa en los detalles, puede
llegar a emocionarnos de manera muy profunda.
