The kitchen as a gathering place, a place
for recreation, family, friendship, commu-
nity and sharing… This is the essence of
part of our history and the history of many
societies around the world. At the center,
always, the fireplace, the fire, the hearth…
And, surrounding it, the children, the
elderly, men and women gathered around
the food. / La cocina como lugar de

Esa es la esencia de parte de nuestra
historia y de muchas sociedades a lo largo
y ancho del mundo. En el centro de ellas,

The Tribal Kitchen represents a well-
traveled homeowner who, with these
colors, mixtures and textures, evokes an
instinctive feeling of being connected to
tribal and historical roots. Rich in warmth
and texture, the room centers around a
fireplace, an essential feature of the house,
be it in the American desert or in the very
heart of the grassland. / La Cocina Tribal
recoge la esencia de alguien fascinado
por viajar; con estos colores, mezclas y
texturas evoca lo instintivo de permanecer
unidos a los nuestros y a nuestras raíces
tradicionales. Por otro lado, la chimenea,
de toques cálidos y con mucha textura, no
pasa inadvertida; es un elemento indispen-
sable de la casa, ya sea en lo más profundo
del desierto americano o el corazón mismo
de los pastos de ganado.
“We celebrate cultural influence of all
kinds, and enjoy weaving their craft, motifs
and materials into our work. We also
weave the influences of nature into our
work”, explains interior designer Steffany
Hollingsworth. Materials, patterns and
textures establish a dialogue with the tribal
essence, turning the space into a place
with life and narrative, with a story behind
it, that feels authentic thanks to the
chosen materials and the references of the
person who lives in the house.
