Il letto CRICKET disegnato da Dainelli Studio, come il nome suggerisce,
si ispira al famoso gioco aristocratico inglese: nasce dall’idea di “ponte
sospeso”, le esili gambe tonde in metallo infatti evocano i whicket, cioè
i paletti alle estremità della zona di lancio, e la preziosa cucitura sulla
testata imita il guantone utilizzato dai giocatori.
Un ricordo ad Alice nel paese delle Meraviglie, una fiaba anche moderna
che ci ha sempre fatto sognare.
The CRICKET bed, designed by Dainelli Studio, draws inspiration from
the renowned aristocratic English sport, as its name suggests.
Conceived as a “suspended bridge,” its slender round metal legs evoke the
wickets, the stakes at the ends of the bowling crease, while the exquisite
stitching on the headboard mimics the glove used by players.
A subtle nod to Alice in Wonderland, a timeless tale that continues to
inspire dreams.
