Have initials, a first name, a monogram, or a coat of arms engraved in the
silver.
Christofle also offers – by special order only – full gilding in yellow or rose
gold for a selection of its sterling silver and silver-plated cutlery. When
applied to sterling silver, yellow gold is called vermeil.
Some models are also made with partial gilding, combining silver and gold
on the same piece.
