L’ensemble de couverts MOOD Dancing Phœnix s’inspire du
phœnix, symbole de l’amour et de la conﬁance en soi. C’est
un oiseau porte-bonheur imaginaire qui était vénéré comme
l’une des quatre bêtes de bon augure de la Chine ancienne (le
qilin, la tortue, le dragon et le phœnix). On dit que le phœnix
apparaît lorsqu’un empereur vertueux se présente et qu’il vit
dans le paulownia, qui est également un arbre sacré.
L’écrin représente trois phœnix dansants et les couverts des
paulownias dignes, l’arbre sacré où vivent les phœnix comme
le dit la légende.
The Dancing Phœnix cutlery set MOOD is inspired by the
phœnix, symbol of love and is for oneself. It is an imaginary
lucky bird that was revered as one of the four auspicious
beasts from ancient China (the qilin, tortoise, dragon, and
phœnix). It is said that the phœnix will appear when a
virtuous emperor arises. The phœnix is said to live in the
paulownia tree, and the paulownia is also a sacred tree.
The case depicts three dancing phoenixes, and the cutlery
depicts digniﬁed paulownia trees, the sacred tree where live
phœnix as the legend says.
