[ Finishes ] // Stems - the stems of the Sypha collection are made of brass (Syphaduepassi) or black coloured iron
(Syphasera and Syphasfera). / Untreated brass (an alloy of copper and zinc) is a very elegant finish, yellow-gold in
colour, with an excellent corrosion resistance. We use it untreated, therefore it may oxidise with time. Regular cleaning
helps preserving its original appearance and slow down the ageing process, which might be anyway accelerated by the
weather, frequent handling or conditions of high humidity.
