Ruminate 1 recalls the mid-1950s work of American painter Cy Twombly. In keeping with Twombly’s style, this
impressive work features scribbles, drawn objects, and dabs of bright white paint. Taken together, these details
convey a sense of fluidity and abstract movement that can be felt across the canvas. A muted color palette of light
grey, platinum, and eggshell tie the piece together.

ground, tree roots and blades of grass are used to carefully complete the quiet forest imagery.
