Every Turn is a three-part series of works on textured paper that recall the early 20th century compositions of
Giorgio de Chirico, a prominent Italian artist and founder of the scuola metafisica art movement. In Every Turn 1,
a distorted perspective of tilted walls and off-balance lines conveys a dreamlike quality. Heightening this effect, a
source of light near the top of the structure adds illumination and shadow for a subtle movement that feels three-
dimensional.
