Gli specchi TACT & TRACE riaffiorano dalla memoria di Eleni Petaloti — fondatrice
insieme a Leonidas Trampoukis dello studio — che, ricordando un pezzo di cristallo
appartenuto ai nonni, inizia a sperimentare le forme prismatiche. L’essenza del cri-
stallo viene così reinterpretata in degli specchi contemporanei che riflettono la luce,
la forma e le emozioni che da sempre l’hanno emozionata. Approfondendo questo
approccio con scale e prospettive diverse, nascono anche i REFRACT, vasi colorati
realizzati con particolare attenzione alla sostenibilità riutilizzando la resina della
lavorazione degli specchi.
The TACT & TRACE mirrors emerge from the memory of Eleni Petaloti — co-founder,
along with Leonidas Trampoukis, of the studio — who, recalling a crystal piece once
owned by her grandparents, began experimenting with prismatic shapes. The essence
of crystal is thus reinterpreted into contemporary mirrors that reflect the light, shape,
and emotions that have always moved her. Building upon this approach with different
scales and perspectives, the REFRACT vases are also born. These coloured vases are
made with particular attention to sustainability by reusing the resin from the mirror
production process.
