Il caleidoscopio crea sfocature di colori e riflessi in continua evoluzione, proprio
come i ricordi che, con il tempo, sbiadiscono e si mescolano a percezioni diverse:
questo inedito parallelismo è alla base di TACT & TRACE mirrors e REFRACT vases,
la collezione di oggetti in resina che sigla la prima collaborazione tra Tacchini e lo
studio Objects of Common Interest. Per evocare questo effetto la materia e le forme
diventano essenziali: la resina colorata e semitrasparente crea giochi dinamici di
tonalità e ombre, mentre le forme prismatiche donano a specchi e vasi una dolce
nota senza tempo. Così ogni creazione diventa una riflessione tattile sulla bellezza
della memoria, fragile e fugace come i colori e le figure che si trasformano seguendo
i movimenti di un caleidoscopio.
The kaleidoscope creates blurs of colours and ever-evolving reflections, much like
the memories that, over time, fade and blend with different perceptions. This novel
parallelism is the basis of TACT & TRACE mirrors and REFRACT vases, the collec-
tion of resin objects marking the first collaboration between Tacchini and the studio
Objects of Common Interest. To evoke this effect, both the material and the shapes
become essential: the coloured and semi-transparent resin creates dynamic plays of
shades and shadows, while the prismatic shapes lend a timeless, gentle note to the
mirrors and vases. Thus, each creation becomes a tactile reflection on the beauty of
memory, fragile and fleeting like the colours and figures that transform following the
movements of a kaleidoscope.
