A loro sono stati affidati i nuovi materiali che ogni \nanno arricchiscono la proposta Rimadesio.\nUn’installazione itinerante raccoglie il progetto in una forma inedita: le immagini, \ndeclinate in modalità video, occupano lo spazio come presenze fisiche autonome, \ndotate di una loro precisa identità.\nRimadesio is an open and curious company firmly oriented towards research and \nexperimentation. Its spirit has allowed this project to come to life: the exploration \nof the expressive potential of the collection's materials through transparencies, \nreflections, and infinite variations originating from light. And who better than a photog-\nrapher - and his artistry in working with light - could help us in this project?\nThe quality of the first photographs taken by Santi Caleca back in 2016, convinced \nus to repeat the experience over the following years. And so the collaboration with \ndifferent photographers begins. Through their very own experience and sensitivity, \nthey have interpreted Rimadesio's new materials, year after year.\nAn itinerant installation displays the project in a new form: the photographs, Spazio naturalmente neutro, come vuole la tradizione \ndella fotografia di prodotto, spazio che si costituisce attraverso la composizione di \nforme essenziali, e delle ombre, delle rifrazioni, dei colori, dove quello che si vede \nguida l’occhio verso l’invisibile.\n \nEsercizi sul tema della natura morta, anche, e non potrebbe essere altri-\nmenti, ma la memoria gioca tra fotografia e pittura e architettura lasciando scor-\nrere le immagini oltre le apparenze, oltre le (splendide) superfici. Ché il fotografo \ndeve qui imporsi un duplice ruolo, quello di rivelatore della bellezza dell’oggetto \nsapendolo trascendere, trasformandolo in altro senza tradirlo. Geometrie, allora, \nprospettive, spazi appunto, attraverso i quali agisce il tempo. Quello dei materiali e \nquello della storia.\n \nI materiali sono contemporanei, figli di esperienza antica e tecnologia moderna,\ncosì come è la fotografia che li racconta. E come sono questi 5 fotografi. L’ anagrafe \ndice italiani, svizzeri, tedeschi, le biografie dicono europei, e non è certo un caso.\nIl tempo della storia, allora, è nelle immagini, e nella memoria di chi guarda.\n \nAstratte vien da dire, soprattutto viene da pensare ai fotogrammi di Moholy-\nNagy e ai collage fotografici di Vordemberge-Gildewart, ai dipinti di Lissitzky (ma \nanche alle sue fotografie, Il costruttore, 1924, quasi un secolo fa, l’architettura \nancora, l’anno dopo Moholy-Nagy in Pittura Fotografia Film scriveva “Noi vogliamo \nprodurre secondo un piano, in quanto per la vita è importante la creazione di \nnuove relazioni”), poi Klucis e Rodcenko, le composizioni di Florence Henri e Luigi \nVeronesi, tutti all’incrocio delle arti, dove la contaminazione è un modo di essere, \nnon di apparire.\n \nPerché questa astrazione non implica un’uscita dal mondo, è invece il presup-\nposto per la sua reinvenzione, e per la scoperta della sua bellezza, attraverso la \nprecisione della forma e dell’intelletto. “Un gioco che, quando riesce, è poesia”, \nchiosava lo scultore.\nImaginary planes.\n \n“But we would still like to find in our works the echo of the old counterpoint, \nmodulation. In the play of parts, which are not planes correctly juxtaposed and \nevident (modeling) but planes which, playing with one another, give rise to imaginary \nplanes”: this is the view taken by Fausto Melotti, at the end of the Sixties, at the \npresentation of a series of 1930 sculptures. \n \nIn front of these photographs we experience the pleasure of observing forms \nthat run after each after, in space and in time. And what is to be \nsaid about these 5 photographers. The registry office says Italian, Swiss, German, \nyet the biographies read European, and that is certainly no coincidence. The epoch \nthen is reflected in the images, and in the memory of the beholders.\n \nAbstracts that bring to mind the photograms by Moholy-Nagy and the abstract \ncollages by Vordemberge-Gildewart, the paintings by Lissitzky (as well as his \nphotographs, Il costruttore, 1924, almost a century ago, and again architecture, one \nyear after Moholy-Nagy wrote in Painting, Photography and Film “We
