Prima di tutto \nviene abbozzata dallo scultore in ceramica. \nSolo questo lavoro può richiedere giorni o \nsettimane e al termine di questo processo la \nstatuina viene sezionata in diverse parti (testa \nmani, dita, piedi, base ecc …). Vengono quindi \nrealizzati degli stampi in gesso per ognuna \ndelle parti sezionate.\nQueste prime forme in gesso serviranno \nper creare le madre-forme che dureranno \nnel tempo e che serviranno per creare gli \nstampi per il colaggio che però, essendo in \ngesso, si deteriorano molto rapidamente e di \nconseguenza devono essere costantemente \nrinnovati. Quando gli stampi sono asciutti, \nviene versata porcellana liquida al loro \ninterno e, dopo un certo tempo, i pezzi che \ncompongono la statuina vengono estratti dopo \ndi che comincia la fase dell’assemblaggio dei \nvari pezzi per far tornare la statuina simile al \nmodello originale. Tutti i particolari, come i \ncapelli, la barba, le unghie delle mani, i fiori, le \nfoglie, l’erba, la frutta ecc… sono fatti a mano. \nhow is a capodimonte \nfigurine manufactured\nA completed figurine may take a year’s \nproduction time from its original sketch or \nidea. It is first shaped by sculptor in clay or \nceramic. This alone may take days or weeks. \nAt completion of the master modelling, the \nfigure goes through the delicate phase of \nbeing cut into several pieces or components \n(hands, arms, feet, base, etc.). Durante la cottura il \ncotone si brucerà e rimarrà il prezioso pizzo \nin porcellana. Una volta che i pezzi si sono \nasciugati completamente, si procede con la \nprima cottura a circa 1250 °C.\nAlcune statuine nel frattempo sono state \nspruzzate sulla superfice con una speciale \nvernice che renderà poi la loro superficie \nlevigata e trasparente per cui, dopo la cottura, \nuna statuina può essere “bisquit” o “lucida” \ned è pronta per essere dipinta. The second firing is made to fix the \ncolours and melt the pure gold; it happens at \napproximately 750°C.
