Trame tessili dinamiche e sempre  \ndiverse, alle quali i rapporti fra pieni e vuoti  \ndella materia e del colore hanno dato ritmo e \nmovimento.\nThe search for inedited architectural elements \nand non-conventional design projects has led  \nPaola Lenti – that has always considered volumes \nand furnishings as a coherent set – to expand \nits creativity horizons. Inspired by the tradition \nof mosaics, the company has combined ancient  \ntechniques with a contemporary graphic sty-\nle and, similarly to its exclusive fabrics, has  \nchanged dimensions and base materials to  \nforge a new creative alphabet.\nThe dialogue with some Italian companies, that \nhave shared their expertise, knowledge and  \ndifferent production skills with the objective  \nto realize a common project, has led to the  \ndesign and production of floorings and wall  \ncoverings, both for the interiors and the exte- \nriors, made by hand in lava stone, glass,  \nceramics, metal and wood. L’effetto ottenuto con questa  \nfinitura è un rassicurante chiaroscuro che,  \nsovrapposto alle geometrie del disegno di base, \nfa sì che ogni elemento sia unico e irripetibile.  \n \nTarsìa – the contemporary expression of an  \nantique Italian decoration technique – is a  \nwooden surface for the indoors, which is made \nflexible through a particular process; it compo-\nses the Ebanys elements used for both modu-\nlar rugs and the decoration of sound-absorbent  \nwalls. The same surface, after a different pro-\nduction process, can be laid onto the tops of  \nthe tables and side tables in the collection.\nThin sheets of the finest wood are cut out  \nfollowing minimal geometries. The next inlay \nphase interrupts the natural order of the wood \ngrain, thus creating new designs with luminous \nreflections. Tarsìa is dyed by hand with natu-\nral products.
