Il colore \npuò dipendere dalla presenza di impurità minerali (argilla, sabbia, ossidi di ferro, limo, noduli di selce) esistenti \nin granuli o in strati all’interno della roccia sedimentaria originaria oppure dal processo di metamorfosi di rocce \ncalcaree prive di impurità.\nTali imperfezioni, trattandosi di materiali naturali, devono quindi essere considerate non difetti, ma caratteristiche \nintrinseche del prodotto stesso che lo rendono pertanto unico ed inimitabile.\nLa finitura prevede un procedimento di levigatura e lucidatura ottenuta dall’utilizzo di abrasivi diamantati di \nultima generazione che dona alla superficie maggiore lucentezza e durata e l’aspetto opaco o lucido secondo \nla scelta. Per ottenere l’effetto opaco sono necessari 5 passaggi di abrasivo, per il lucido 8 passaggi.\nOgni singola parte di cui è composto il marmo, assimila in modo diverso la lavorazione con gli abrasivi. Quindi \nle superfici trattate possono avere parti più o meno lucide o opache.\nI marmi, a causa delle loro fragilezze in origine, dopo essere estratti dalla cava subiscono alcune lavorazioni \nparticolari per renderle omogenee, compatte e solide.\nPrima fase:\n- messa in sottovuoto\n- colatura di resina trasparente nelle fessure\n- pressatura e incamiciatura con pannelli di legno multistrati\nSeconda fase:\n- segagione in lastre con lame diamantate\n- resinatura e retinatura con rete in fibra di vetro sul lato della lastra non visibile non eliminabile\n- lucidatura\u002Flevigatura (opaco) sul lato della lastra visibile\nTerza fase:\n- le lastre vengono portate al laboratorio che procede nella lavorazione con macchine a controllo numerico\n- per ultimo c’è sempre la mano dell’artigiano per le piccole rifiniture e la stesura di prodotto antimacchia \n  idroleorepellente\nI marmi hanno scarsa resistenza alle sostanze calcaree ed acide che, anche in piccole quantità, possono \nintaccarne le superfici e penetrare nei pori del materiale formando macchie non eliminabili.\nNon esistono prodotti che possano proteggere le superfici naturali, è comunque disponibile (su richiesta e con \nsovrapprezzo) un trattamento di finitura superficiale mediante applicazione di laccatura poliestere (lucida o \nopaca) che però modifica leggermente l’aspetto naturale del prodotto.\nIl marmo Sahara Noir è disponibile solo con finitura poliestere (lucida o opaca).\nLa finitura opaca per i marmi, Marquinia e Grey Stone, è disponibile solo su richiesta e potrebbe presentare \nsulla superficie un aspetto non omogeneo (aloni e macchie chiare e scure) legato al tipo di materiale.\nManutenzione:\nPer una corretta manutenzione ed una lunga durata consigliamo di procedere alla rimozione immediata di \nliquidi e macchie, di qualunque natura essi siano, utilizzando semplicemente un panno umido e morbido.\nPer la normale manutenzione è sufficiente pulire le superfici con acqua e prodotti neutri, non usare assolutamente \nsolventi, materiali abrasivi o liquidi aggressivi.\nThe marbles are slabs of natural rock materials of sedimentary origin composed mainly of calcium carbonate \n(CaCo3). Therefore the marble slabs may vary in appearance one with the others, presenting small \nimperfections, veins, small holes, surface inequalities, differences in veins or shades. The colour depends on the \npresence of mineral impurities (clay, sand, iron oxides, lime, flint nodules) existing in granules or in layers within \nthe original sedimentary rock or from the process of metamorphosis of limestone free from impurities.\nAs a natural material, it should be noted that imperfections must therefore be considered not as defects but as \nstructural characteristics of the product itself, which make it unique and inimitable.\nThe finish provides a sanding and polishing process obtained by using the latest generation of diamond \nabrasives which gives the surface greater shine and durability and the matt or glossy appearance according to \nthe choice. To obtain the matt effect, 5 abrasive steps are required, for the glossy effect 8 steps are required. \nEvery single part of which the marble is composed, assimilates, in a different way, the working with the \nabrasives. Presenta un fondo rosso-violaceo o nero, contenente macchie (clasti) di colore assai \nvariabile: bianco, rosa, rosso, verde chiaro o grigio, aventi forma spigolosa, spesso allungata con tendenza \nall’iso-orientazione, e dimensioni da millimetriche a centimetriche. Sono presenti anche venature di colore \ngrigiastro, larghe da alcuni millimetri a pochi centimetri, ad andamento irregolare. Questa pietra ornamentale \npossiede notevole eterogeneità nell’aspetto, non solo passando da un sito estrattivo all’altro ma anche all’interno \ndella stessa cava. Per questo motivo, con il perdurare della coltivazione nelle diverse epoche, si sono succedute \nvarietà del litotipo dall’aspetto anche notevolmente differente. Presents a red-violet or black background, containing spots (clasts) of different colour: white, pink, red, \nlight green or grey, having a sharp, often elongated shape of different dimensions. There are also greyish \nveins, ranging from a few millimetres to a few centimetres, with an irregular pattern. This ornamental stone has \nconsiderable heterogeneity in its appearance, not only from one extractive site to another but also on the same \nquarry. For this reason, with the cultivation in different eras, there have been varieties of the lithotype with a \nvery different appearance. Le tante zone di estrazione delle Alpi Apuane differenziano le tipologie zona \nper zona, e i tre bacini principali sono Gioia, Colonnata e Fantiscritti. Il Bianco Gioia prende quindi il nome \ndal suo bacino di estrazione, e si caratterizza per la struttura più dolce e meno dura rispetto al Bianco Carrara, \nnonché per la presenza di macchioline rotondeggianti nere, denominate “mosche” o “moschine”. Il fondo è \ntendenzialmente bianco, con lievi sfumature grigie. Il materiale è compatto e privo di porosità superficiali. \nPossono comparire minuti cristalli di pirite e microfori. Il marmo Emperador Dark è caratterizzato dal colore di fondo marrone con riflessi \ndorati, disegnato da numerose venature marrone chiaro e da alcuni cristalli o salini bianchi. Presenta alcuni \nsegnali occasionali di calcite di piccole dimensioni. Questo marmo è caratterizzato dalla presenza di fessure, \ne pertanto necessita di resinatura. The quarries are located in Murcia and \nAlicante. Emperador Dark marble is characterized by a brown background colour with golden reflections, drawn \nby numerous light brown veins and some crystals or white mineral salts. It presents some occasional signs of \nsmall calcite. This marble is characterized by the presence of cracks, and therefore requires resin coating. Il colore di \nfondo di questo marmo è un grigio-tortora molto caldo ed omogeneo. La compattezza del fondo viene ravvivata \nda venature di quarzo bianco che costituiscono la caratteristica tipica di questo materiale. La trama di queste \nvenature luminose crea ogni volta un disegno naturale ed imprevedibile, formato da linee che si muovono in \ndiverse direzioni e che presentano dimensioni ogni volta diverse. E’ possibile trovare delle impurità ferrose. \nQueste a contatto con l’acqua possono aumentare. Inoltre presenta delle linee di screpolatura (magrosità) \nsuperficiali. The background of this marble in \ngrey-turtledove colour, is very warm and homogeneous. The compactness of the base is enlivened by white \nquartz veins which are the typical characteristic of this material. The texture of these luminous veins creates a \nnatural and unpredictable design every time, formed by lines that move in different directions and which have \ndifferent dimensions each time. It is possible to find ferrous impurities. These, in contact with water, can increase. \nMoreover, it presents some superficial cracking lines (“magrosità” minute excoriations of the material).
