Nato dal recupero di un edificio di \norigine industriale dei primi del Novecento, lo studio \nunisce elementi originali della preesistente struttura \n- come solidi muri in mattoni a vista e grandi vetrate - a \nun design minimal dalle linee pulite.\nL’obiettivo del progetto di interior era creare uno \nspazio che fosse confortevole e adatto al lavoro, ma \nallo stesso tempo stimolante per la progettazione.\nUn grande portone di ingresso, alto 4 metri, rivela un \nampio spazio di lavoro dove i tavoli monocromatici Lim \n3.0 accolgono 8 postazioni di lavoro. I vani passacavi \nrendono il piano di lavoro ordinato e libero da ogni \nimpedimento. Protagonista della sala riunioni è invece \nil tavolo Tense Material nella sua finitura più calda in\nlegno rovere, che favorisce gli incontri e il lavoro collet-\ntivo. Alle spalle del tavolo una libreria Minima 3.0 in \nalluminio bianco dal profilo essenziale raccoglie libri e \nvolumi di architettura.\nPer la piccola saletta ristoro, invece, è stato\nscelto un Rock Table, che, con il suo basamento in ce-\nmento ben si inserisce nel contesto architettonico \ndell’edificio. Ogni tavolo è accompagnato dalle sedute \ndella famiglia Flow: Flow Chair imbottite e con basa-\nmento su ruote per le postazioni di lavoro, le poltronci-\nne Flow Slim per la sala riunioni e per la sala ristoro.\nEng \nJuncos Arquitectos Estudio is based in the Span-\nish capital, not far from the green Retiro park. Originat-\ning from the recovery of an early XX century industrial \nbuilding, the studio combines original elements of the \nexisting structure, such as solid brick walls and large \nwindows, with a minimal design, featuring clean lines. \nThe interior design project’s goal was to create\na space that was comfortable and fit for working, but at \nthe same time cosy and stimulating for planning. \nA 4 meter high front door reveals a wide working space, \nwhere monochromatic Lim 3.0 tables accommodate \neight workstations. Cable compartments make the \nworktop tidy and free from any impediment. \nTense Material table is the protagonist of the meeting \nroom: it comes in its warmest oak wood finish and it \naccommodates 8 to 10 people, thus facilitating meet-\nings and collective work. The MDF Italia headquarters \ndesigned by Studio Bestetti modulated a skilful play of \nvolumes featuring essential, timeless lines. During the \ndesign phase, special attention was paid to the light \nquality of all the rooms, and in particular to the possibili-\nty of natural light coming in, mediated by large-scale \nglass walls giving onto the outdoor greenery.\nThe formal elegance of the various operational areas \nfeatures the colourful accents, shapes and materials of \nMDF Italia furnishings. Pro-\ntagonista di questa area è il divano Grafo, dalla nuance \nnaturale e con bordi sottolineati da una cucitura\na contrasto, progettato dallo stesso Victor Vasilev. In \nquesto sistema componibile, elementi imbottiti, diva-\nni e tavolini si combinano tra di loro per dare vita ad \nuna composizione caratterizzata da grande comfort e\naccoglienza, e che può essere modificata a seconda \ndelle esigenze.\nEng \nGreater space usability and an enhancement of \ndomestic heating while respecting the nature of \nthis Ticino building’s rationalist architecture. These \nwere Victor Vasilev’s goals in renovating this residence \nin Lugano.\n \nThe teak wood panelling on all three floors hides \nthe back doors and creates a leitmotiv across the \nvarious rooms in the house; the materials were selected \nso as to maintain continuity between the indoors\nand outdoors.\n \nSurrounded by large glass walls, the spacious \nliving room faces onto a black-marble pool. This area is \ndominated by the Grafo sofa, featuring natural colours \nand contrast stitching along the edges designed by \nVictor Vasilev himself.
