Its bold personality is reflected already \nin its name, which refers to elytron, the hardened forewings of coleoptera.\nThe structure is obtained from the assembly of several marble elements \ndesigned sequentially in order to reduce waste to the minimum: three identical \nshapes make up the round base – a choice of calacatta viola, verde tinos, \npalissandro brown or grand antique – while pairs of concave and convex \nelements form the elliptical one in palissandro brown marble. The elegance \nof natural stone is in perfect harmony with the brass inserts: the thin metal \nbars interposed between the lithic elements are fastened with visible studs. \nThe parts are easily joined by mechanical fixtures thanks to the presence of \ntwo noticeable edges, folded outwards and softened by rounding, which define \nthe bold personality of the table. The top in smoked glass or marble, offered in \nthe versions carrara ghiaccio with polished finish and palissandro argento with \nhoned finish, completes the design with refined elegance. \nDue to its sustainable and innovative productive approach, Elitra was included \nin the ADI Design Index 2021 and it was awarded the prestigious GOOD \nDESIGN® 2021 Award. \nIl tavolo Elitra contrappone forme geometriche essenziali ad un approccio \nmaterico inedito e contemporaneo. Over time, \nvariations, expected and common transformations typical of the natural \norigin of the products may occur. These variables can be influenced by the \nenvironmental context in which the elements will be installed.\nThe tops of the tables Petalo and Elitra are in tempered glass. To prevent \naccidental breakages, do not place too hot or too cold objects on the surface \nand avoid impacts with hard and sharp objects. Do not drag objects across the \nsurface, but carefully lift them, because ceramic, porcelain, crystal and metal \n(for example cutlery or tableware) are harder than glass.\nThe brass elements of the tables Petalo and Elitra are by their nature prone \nto oxidation. They must be treated periodically with special cream products \nthat remove the oxide. In this operation, the marble must be protected and \nisolated from contact.\nThe structures of the Gessato, Fillo and Origo collections are in powder coated \nsteel, subject to thermosetting process.
