Pallone
Inspiration – p. 102
Design: Boonzaaijer / Mazaïrac / De Scheemaker, 1989
This was originally designed for the House of the Future. Pallone is perhaps the best-known Leolux
armchair. This is undoubtedly due to its futuristic design, but without the legendary Leolux comfort
the relevance would certainly have been lost. Available in multiple sizes and in numerous colour
and upholstery fabric options. Pallone has personality, and is the perfect eye-catcher for distinctive
interiors.
Papageno
Inspiration – p. 106
Design: Jan Armgardt, 1993
Papageno is the Leolux symbol for playfulness, amusement and humour. The striking aluminium legs,
the lightly sprung back and beautiful organic form make Papageno an eye-catcher that’s difficult to
date. And yet this Leolux classic has been around for over thirty years. Arty and playful, design with
stunning organic forms.

Mimas
Inspiration – p. 101
Design: Martin Ballendat, 2021
The Mimas armchair will put a smile on your face, for two reasons. Firstly because with a little
imagination it reminds you of a smile, and secondly because it’s so comfortable. We worked with
designer Martin Ballendat to create this chair for contemporary interiors. It’s compact and defiantly
modern. The chair works very well on its own, but also looks great in a set of two or more.
