Two siblings who have \nbeen running the family business since 2004. \nFrom our father Luciano we have inherited not \nonly the company, but also the culture and the \nrespect for work, the passion for what we do, \nand the desire to make this passion known \nbeyond the confines of our beloved Tuscany. \nWe come from a generation of marble workers. \nOur father started working marble when he was \njust a boy, and we too learnt words like marble \nand travertine early on, we gained experience \nin quarries and learnt about tools for quarrying \nand the subsequent processing.\n \nOurs is a demanding job, in which fatigue, \nheat and cold are part of everyday life.  \n \nBut this is not a burden to us because our \ndrive is made up of energy, of the desire to \npreserve the spirit of craftsmanship that we \ninherited from our father, the same spirit that \nwe pass on to our children day after day. \nWith the passing of time, the need grew within us \nto create a more exclusive, more defined, more \ncontemporary product that would move away \nfrom the deep-rooted idea of the ‘heaviness’ of \nthe marble furnishing element, but that would be \na beautiful design object regardless, where the \nmarble, the material, could give a strong signal of \nadded value. We therefore availed ourselves of \nthe collaboration of experienced designers, who \nhelped us not only to understand the market and \nits changes in relation to customer needs more \ndirectly, but also to be more aware of what we \ndo and what we want to be. From the \nmountains near Carrara, a Tuscan town an \nhour’s drive from our company, we extract the \nfamous Bianco Carrara, which takes its name \nfrom the town of origin. Carrara White is both a \nspecific and a generic term. In the first case, this \nname refers to the white marble par excellence, \na material with excellent qualities, which have \nmade it known throughout the world and of \nwhich one can admire a shining example in the \nmonuments that stand out in Piazza dei Miracoli \nin Pisa. But we also refer to Bianco di Carrara \nto define all the highly prised types of white \nthat are extracted from the same mountains: \nBianco Calacatta, Michelangelo, Statuario and \nothers. Marble, like Roman Travertine, has \nalways accompanied our history. This material \nas imperfect as it is unique that nature has lent \nus. Lenzi uses only first choice marbles and \ntravertine selected directly by Simone Lenzi \nin the best quarries. A true total living project. \nTo achieve this goal, the Lenzi siblings, Claudia \nand Simone, entrusted the architect Maurizio \nManzoni with the Art Direction and development \nof the designs for the new course and the new \nconcept, which started from an analysis of \nthe brand’s roots and remains traditionally \nknown for its use of MARBLE as an essential \nmaterial, and of contemporary living trends. \n  \nThe LENZI HOME COLLECTION mood was born: \na capsule collection developed with harmony \nand an innovative aesthetic taste. Every piece is \na work of art, characterised by a sophisticated \ndesign, embellished with the most refined \nvarieties of marble and finishes. The designed \nenvironment is delicate, elegant: the products are \nexalted by using high-end  materials. The typical \npeculiarities of the matter have been recovered \nfrom the company background and territory, then \nenhanced by artisanal workmanship of artistic \nelegance.
